Temperance Hotel offers a great location for your next function, found right in the centre of the vibrant Chapel Street precinct and accessible to surrounding nightlife and entertainment. With a contemporary and elegant design, Temperance Hotel has a private function room upstairs for the more exclusive events, plus numerous other areas in the main bar downstairs available for more casual gatherings.

The Lounge

Located upstairs at Temperance Hotel , The Lounge is a premier Chapel Street function room. This venue for hire is perfect for private parties or corporate events as it encompasses a more exclusive atmosphere, away from the main bar downstairs. The sparkling design and decoration of the room is detailed in lush red lights, burgundy drapes, beautiful marble bar tops & a Spiegeltent inspired mirror tiling pattern. The Lounge at Temperance Hotel has a capacity for up to 100 guests if you’re staging a cocktail style event and is ideal for media launches, cocktail parties, birthdays and corporate Christmas parties. With its own bar, you and your guests have the flexibility to provide your own entertainment and music.

If you’re after a smaller sit down catered experience, The Lounge can house up to 20 guests.

The Main Bar

In the main bar you can soak up the bustling atmosphere with a sit down dinner. A sit down dinner experience in the main bar can be arranged for anywhere up to 30 guests.

The Booth Bar

The Booth Bar is found adjacent to the main bar and can hold up to 35 guests for a sit down event, or up to 50 guests in a combined seated and standing arrangement. The Booth bar is made up of 3 regular booths and 1 super booth, making it ideal for semi private functions.

Exclusive Venue Hire

Temperance Hotel is available for exclusive hire from Monday to Thursday if you’re looking to stage a more elaborate function.
